Most people will not work or will work for a very limited amount of time. The rest of the time they will be able to choose what they do. Most things will be abundant virtual goods and services so there will be the time and resources for everyone to enjoy their lives.
Digitization, virtualization and other methods will make most things abundant.
Most remaining physical possessions will be life sustaining (shelter, clothing, food and drink).
Most things will be digitized and available to all at no cost (books, entertainment, knowledge). Many physical objects can't be digitized but plans, methods and processes for making them can be digitized and made abundant.
People will realize that life's physical requirements are limited (food, shelter, health, etc.) and the rest is optional. There will be a trend to use the resource of time for simple and free pleasurable activities (friendship, a walk in the park, reading a book etc.). Less time will be spent trying to make money to purchase objects that are not needed for living and which really provide very little pleasure.
Many jobs will no longer be needed when most things are abundant and people quit fighting over and protecting scarce physical items because there will be an abundance of virtual experiences, services and goods.
Governments will switch from trying to control people to trying to encourage people and from creating scarcity to creating abundance.
Learning, traveling, socializing, and enjoying life will be top priorities.
Education will be lifelong and will be gained as needed rather than trying to stockpile it in school children.
Deliberate waste of physical items will be a crime.
Property and possessions will be more of a burden and a danger than a source of wealth.
Status and power will be determined by who is able to give the most - not by who is able to take the most.
The overpopulation problem will be solved when people stop needing a large family to overcome an uncertain economy and to take care of them in their old age.
Many negative things will be eliminated (war, theft, poverty, starvation, fear etc.).
